The purpose of Sweet Week is to drive traffic to culinary businesses throughout Albuquerque with the promise of sweet discounts, fun promotions, small group classes, unique dining experiences, new product release parties, and large scale events designed to indulge one’s sweet tooth.

A partnership between the Southwest Chocolate and Coffee Fest and Edible New Mexico, with the support of Visit Albuquerque.

The purpose of Sweet Week is to raise awareness of Mandy’s Farm and other local organizations dedicated to supporting employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

Sweet Week is an initiative to drive in-person traffic to culinary businesses throughout Albuquerque. The purpose of Sweet Week is to raise funds for, and awareness of, local non-profit organizations who champion employment opportunities for people with disabilities. 

Sweet Week takes place March 29, 2025 – April 6, 2025, leading up to, and including, the 15th annual Southwest Chocolate and Coffee Fest, taking place April 5-6, 2025 at Expo NM. 

All food & beverage businesses, or those related to chocolate or coffee products, are invited to participate.  You do not need to be a vendor at the Southwest Chocolate and Coffee Fest.  Online businesses are encouraged to partner with a local brick and mortar business for Sweet Week participation. 

Examples of Sweet Week activities:

 – Theobroma Chocolates: 15% off $15 or more
 – Elixir Chocolates: A small group truffle making class, and 15% off $15 or more
 – The Brew Coffee: A coffee cupping session, coffee class, and 15% off $15 or more
 – Boxing Bear Brewery: beer & chocolate pairing session
 – Michael Thomas Coffee: A coffee cupping session
 – Explora: The Science of Chocolate & Coffee Day on April 5
 – Plata Coffee: Coffee brewing classes
 – Lescombes Bistros: Specialty dessert item(s) on the menu
 – New Mexico Pinon Coffee: specialty coffee drink and sip & paint event 

Small Group Ticketed Experience:

 – Want to host a Sweet Week special event?

 – You decide when to host the event and, if applicable, how much to charge per person. 

 – We will add a nominal amount to every ticket as every participant will also receive a pass to the Southwest Chocolate and Coffee Fest.

 – We handle ticket sales and event registration, providing you with a list of all registrants and their contact information, as well as payment for your event.

In addition to advertising support by Edible New Mexico, all Sweet Week businesses will also receive: 

 – Ad space in one email blast to 60,000 local festival attendee subscribers.

 – Logo and listing in the online Sweet Week section of the Southwest Chocolate and Coffee Fest website.

 – Dedicated social media post about your Sweet Week promotion to all Chocolate and Coffee Fest social media accounts

Sweet Week participation costs will be determined by the size of your ad in the official Edible New Mexico Sweet Week guide.
